Data Processing Addendum
This Data Processing Addendum governs how Euryan processes personal data on behalf of its customers. It forms part of, and is incorporated into, the Principal Agreement under which Euryan supplies the platform.
It applies to paid pilots and licensed use of the platform. It does not apply to free case study or proof-of-concept engagements, which are covered by separate data-handling terms available on request.
Key points
- Personal data onlyThe DPA governs personal data. The engineering content you upload is Customer Content under the Principal Agreement and is not, of itself, personal data.
- RolesYou are the controller of your personal data. Euryan is the processor, acting only on your documented instructions.
- Where data is processedPrimary application hosting, database operations and backups are in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany).
- SubprocessorsListed on the Subprocessor List, with at least 30 days notice before any addition or replacement, and a right to object.
- SecurityThe technical and organisational measures are set out in the Security Overview, which forms part of this DPA.
- International transfersUK to EU transfers rely on adequacy. Any other transfer uses the Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK Addendum where an adequacy decision does not apply.
- Return and deletionOn termination, your personal data is deleted or returned at your election, from live systems within 30 days and from backups within 60.
- No model trainingEuryan does not use your personal data to train, tune or develop any machine learning model.
No signature is required. By entering into the Principal Agreement, you accept the version of this DPA published here as at the effective date of that agreement. A countersigned counterpart is available on request.
